PARC Playwright Profile for April 2019 is Kathleen Hamilton

Kathleen Hamilton is a former journalist and editor of Deep Water Pearls: A Collection of Women's Memoir (Acorn Press, 2018). She mentors women to write their deeper truths for publication, performance, personal transformation and healing.

She is the creator of Deeper Truth memoir programs where women are supported to find their unique voice and transform their memories into memoir that creates instant connection with readers and audiences.

Kathleen is the author of Sex After Baby: Why There is None. She is an accomplished actor and director and an award-winning poet, screenwriter and playwright. She is known for her hit stage comedy Shameless Hussies, her memoir-on-stage Blonde Moments, and her acclaimed program SoloWorks in which she guides women to write and perform their monologues on stage.

Kathleen is currently writing a new memoir, High Flying Girl, for both the page and the stage, and is mentoring women to write their true stories in her workshops and coaching programs.
