Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre (PARC), invites you to join us for an evening of readings.

“In Their Own Words” includes excerpts of plays in development and interviews with the participants of PARC’s annual Playwrights’ Colony.

This event will be held on Wednesday May 17th at 7:30 PM at the Motyer-Fancy Theater in the Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB.

The readings are excerpts and interviews from new plays the Atlantic Canadian playwrights are developing as part of PARC’s annual Playwrights’ Colony.

Featured playwrights will include Ken Schwartz, Ami McKay, Step Taylor, Lindsay Kyte, Gillian Clarke, Wendy Hamilton, Sarah Tilley, and Don Hannah. There is no admission fee, however, donations are greatly appreciated at the door.

The annual two-week Playwrights’ Colony is taking place from May 7th to 21st.  PARC’s “In Their Own Words...” offers audiences a fantastic opportunity to catch a sneak peak of the latest works in development across Atlantic Canada.
