Jenny Munday


Jenny Munday is a playwright, dramaturge and actor and the AD of PARC. She’s been Crake Drama Fellow at Mount Allison University, Playwright-in-Residence at both Live Bait and NotaBle Acts Theatres, Artistic Director of Mulgrave Road Theatre and Artistic Associate at Theatre New Brunswick. As an actor, she has worked with theatres and playwrights’ development centres across the country.  Most recently, she appeared as Dianne in Don Hannah’s The Cavepainter in Edmonton and Fredericton and as Leda in Daniel MacIvor’s Communion with Kazan Co-op at Neptune and the National Arts Centre. Scripts she has written and co-written include:  Battle Fatigue, Have You Ever Been to Bombay?, The Americans Are Coming, The Last Tasmanian, Relatively Harmless, Never Drive East Before Noon and have been produced at companies, including Ship’s Company, TNB, The Comedy Asylum, Live Bait Theatre and Upper Canada Playhouse. Works in progress include Morning Coffee and The Bunk Beds.
