 Playwrights Guild of Canada (Formerly Playwrights Union of Canada) is a national association of professional and emerging playwrights. We were established in 1972 as the Playwrights Co-op. Our main purpose was to publish and distribute scripts to encourage more productions of Canadian plays. Since then, we have grown in our mandate and membership. We now provide programs and services that support, promote, and advocate for over 440 members.
